Realme GT5 Pro exposed before launch: supports USB 3.2 and 1TB storage

Realme GT5 Pro is set to debut on December 7, and it is a true flagship phone, sharing many components with the OnePlus 12. It is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, and comes with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X memory, and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage space. The 1TB of storage space and 24GB of memory are an excessive configuration, which may not have much practical use. The battery capacity is 4,600mAh, the same as last year`s GT3 240W version.

Some details of the Realme GT5 Pro have been revealed in the latest posters. One of the posters shows the phone in another color - Starry Night, which has a more traditional, non-leather material on the back. Another poster reveals that the phone will offer up to 1TB of internal storage, and will also support USB 3.2 connection. USB 3.2 is a data transfer standard that is 10 times faster than USB 2.0, but because the naming of USB is very confusing, we are not sure which version of USB 3.2 the Realme GT5 Pro uses. The poster also mentioned that the data link should be 10 times faster than USB 2.0, so we can guess that the Realme GT5 Pro uses a 5Gbps controller(Usb3.1 5Gbps Data Cable), which is USB 3.2 Gen 1x1 or USB 3.1 Gen 1 or USB 3.0.

The 240W version of the Realme GT5 Pro`s box contains all the usual user manuals, as well as the corresponding 240W PD Charger and USB Type-C to USB C cable. The charger itself is not very big, but quite heavy. Realme also includes a matte, soft silicone case.

Besides slightly changing the design, which is now a subtle combination of Google Pixel`s past two generations and last year`s GT3, there are no major changes in other aspects. In terms of hardware, there are no significant changes except for the chip. The display, battery (as we mentioned) and cameras all remain unchanged. In fact, these have not changed for a while, depending on which versions of the Realme GT series you compare. Of course, this does not mean that it is not a great phone.
